Indications
Osteoarthritis, post-operative joint conditions, psychological or medical contraindications for joint replacement, acute and chronic cartilage injuries, aseptic necrosis, osteochondritis dissecans (König’s disease), slow-healing fractures, pseudoarthrosis, subacromial impingement syndrome, chronic tendon inflammation (tendinitis), prolonged joint pain, and severe post-operative or post-traumatic scarring.
Contraindications
Mesenchymal stem cell therapy is considered safe and does not cause significant side effects. In rare cases, mild fever or redness at the injection site may occur, which resolves on its own.
Contraindications include: malignant tumors, blood clotting disorders, severe cardiac or respiratory failure, stage IV–V kidney failure, acute infections (hepatitis, syphilis, etc.), unstable hemodynamics, terminal conditions, acute stroke or traumatic brain injury, pregnancy, purulent joint infections, and bone tuberculosis.
